There are six areas where a problem can occur: wiring harness, the radio, the CD player, and speaker. Troubleshooting enables you to confine the problem to a particular area.

    Removal 1. Remove the shift lever knob. (Refer to Body - "Console") 2. Remove the floor console upper cover. 3. Disconnect the connector (A) from the floor console upper cover.

    Replacement 1. Discharge refrigerant from refrigeration system. 2. Replace faulty tube or hose.     Cap the open fittings immediately to keep moisture or dirt out of the system. 3. Tighten joint of bolt or nut to specified torque.
