Kia Cadenza YG 2016-2025 Service Manual / Body Electrical System / Lighting System / Rheostat Repair procedures

Inspection

1.	Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

2.	Remove the passenger compartment juction box cover.

3.	Remove the side cover (A).

Remove the crash pad side switch assembly (A) by pushing it through side cover hole.

Put on gloves to protect your hands.

5.	Disconnect the rheostat connector (A) from lower crash pad switch.

6.	Operate the rheostat switch and check for continuity between terminals.
