Description The Side Airbags (SAB) are installed inside the front seat and protects the driver and passenger from danger when side crash occurs.
Removal Front Side Airbag 1. Disconnect the battery negative cable and wait for at least thirty seconds before beginning work. 2. Remove the front seat assembly.
Instructions When Handling Refrigerant 1. R-134a liquid refrigerant is highly volatile. A drop on the skin of your hand could result in localized frostbite. When handling the refrigerant, be sure to wear gloves. 2. It is standard practice to wear goggles or glasses to protect your eyes, and gloves to protect your hands.
Inspection 1. Ignition "OFF". 2. Disconnect the intake actuator connector. 3. Verify that the actuator operates to the recirculation position when connecting 12V to the terminal 3 and grounding terminal 7. 4. Verify that the intake actuator operates to the fresh position when connecting in the reverse.
