Removal and Installation 1. Remove the engine cover (A). • Lift up the lower end of engine cover, then left and right alternately.
Removal and Installation 1. Remove the engine room front under cover (A) and the side covers (B). When removing the under covers (B), unfasten the mounting bracket bolts and then remove the under cover and mounting bracket assembly.
Instructions When Handling Refrigerant 1. R-134a liquid refrigerant is highly volatile. A drop on the skin of your hand could result in localized frostbite. When handling the refrigerant, be sure to wear gloves. 2. It is standard practice to wear goggles or glasses to protect your eyes, and gloves to protect your hands.
Replacement 1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2. Recover the refrigerant with a recovery/ recycling/ charging station. 3. When the engine is cool, drain the engine coolant from the radiator. 4. Remove the expansion valve cover (A).
