Connect the battery voltage and check the blower motor rotation.

| 2. |
If the blower motor voltage is not operated well, substitute with a known-good blower motor and check for proper operation. |

If the problem is corrected, replace the blower motor. |
| Replacement |
| 1. |
Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. |
| 2. |
Remove the crash pad lower cover (A) and then disconnect the connector (B).

| 3. |
Remove the shower duct (A).
|
| 4. |
Disconnect the of the blower motor connector (A). |
| 5. |
Remove the blower motor (B) by pulling it after rotating 90° in a counter clock wise direction.

| 6. |
Installation is the reverse order of removal. |
Replacement 1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2. Remove the heater and blower unit.(Refer to HA group – heater unit). 3. Remove the blower unit (A) from the heater unit after loosening a mounting bolt and 3 screws.
Inspection 1. Ignition "ON" 2. Manually operate the control switch and measure the voltage of blower motor. 3. Select the control switch to raise voltage until high speed.
Removal 1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2. Remove the glove box housing. (Refer to Body - "Glove Box Housing") 3. Remove the SVM unit (B) after disconnecting the connectors (A) and mounting bolts. Installation 1. Install the SVM unit.
