Remove the steering column upper and lower shrouds after removing 3 screws.

Remove the wiper switch connector (A) by releasing the part.

If necessary of removing the wiper & washer switch (A)
only, release the lock of wiper switch using tool without removing the
steering wheel and the clock spring.

Install the wiper switch. |

Install the steering column upper and lower shrouds. |

Oil Specification 1. The HFC-134a system requires synthetic (PAG) compressor oil whereas the R-12 system requires mineral compressor oil. The two oils must never be mixed. 2. Compressor (PAG) oil varies according to compressor model. Be sure to use oil specified for the model of compressor.
Inspection 1. Ignition "OFF” 2. Disconnect the connector of mode control actuator. 3. Verify that the mode control actuator operates to the defrost mode when connecting 12V to the terminal 3and grounding terminal 7. 4. Verify that the mode control actuator operates to the vent mode when connecting in the reverse.
