Description The primary purpose of the SRSCM (Supplemental Restraints System Control Module) is to discriminate between an event that warrants restraint system deployment and an event that does not.
Removal 1. Remove the ignition key from the vehicle. 2. Disconnect the battery negative cable and wait for at least three minutes before beginning work.
Removal 1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2. Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the crash pad side cover (A). [RH] 3. Disconnect the stopper (B) from the glove box (A). 4. Disconnect the air damper (A) from the glove box (B).
Teaching Procedures 1. Key Teaching Procedure Key teaching must be done after replacing a defective PCM(ECM) or when providing additional keys to the vehicle owner. The procedure starts with an PCM(ECM) request for vehicle specific data (PIN code: 6digits) from the tester.
