Inspection Tolerance Calibration Tolerance calibration compensates for the error margins of surround view video that occur due to the installation tolerance when the four cameras that comprise the SVM system are installed.
Removal 1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2. Remove the glove box housing. (Refer to Body - "Glove Box Housing") 3. Remove the SVM unit (B) after disconnecting the connectors (A) and mounting bolts.

Inspection 1. Ignition "ON" 2. Using the scan tool. 3. Emit intensive light toward photo sensor using a lamp, and check the output voltage change. 4. The voltage will rise with higher intensive light and reduce with lower intensive light.

Inspection 1. Ignition "OFF". 2. Disconnect the intake actuator connector. 3. Verify that the actuator operates to the recirculation position when connecting 12V to the terminal 3 and grounding terminal 7. 4. Verify that the intake actuator operates to the fresh position when connecting in the reverse.
