Inspection Steering Wheel Play Inspection 1. Turn the steering wheel so that the front wheels can face straight ahead. 2. Measure the distance the steering wheel can be turned without moving the front wheels.
Diagnosis With GDS 1. BSD system defects can be quickly diagnosed with the GDS. GDS operates actuator quickly to monitor, input/output value and self diagnosis. 2. Connect the cable of GDS to the data link connector in driver side crash pad lower panel, turn the power on GDS.
Inspection 1. Ignition "OFF". 2. Disconnect the intake actuator connector. 3. Verify that the actuator operates to the recirculation position when connecting 12V to the terminal 3 and grounding terminal 7. 4. Verify that the intake actuator operates to the fresh position when connecting in the reverse.
