26 Brake control solenoid valve is a Variable Force Solenoid (VFS) type.

When TCM supplies variable current to solenoid valve, hydraulic pressure of 26 brake is controlled by solenoid valve.

    Removal 1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2. Remove the floor console upper cover. (Refer to Body - "Floor Console Assembly") 3. Disconnect the console upper cover connector (A). 4. Remove the cup holder assembly (A) after loosening the mounting screws.

    Inspection 1. Ignition "OFF". 2. Disconnect the intake actuator connector. 3. Verify that the actuator operates to the recirculation position when connecting 12V to the terminal 3 and grounding terminal 7. 4. Verify that the intake actuator operates to the fresh position when connecting in the reverse.
