Removal 1. Turn the ignition switch OFF, and then remove battery (-) cable. 2. Remove the fuel tank. (Refer to Fuel System - "Fuel Tank") 3.
Removal 1. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable. 2. Lift the vehicle. 3. Disconnect the canister close valve connector (A).
Oil Specification 1. The HFC-134a system requires synthetic (PAG) compressor oil whereas the R-12 system requires mineral compressor oil. The two oils must never be mixed. 2. Compressor (PAG) oil varies according to compressor model. Be sure to use oil specified for the model of compressor.
Inspection 1. Measure terminal - to - terminal resistance of blower resistor. 2. If measure resistance isnot within specification, the blower resistor must be replaced. Replacement 1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2. Remove the crash pad lower cover (A) and then disconnect the connector (B).
