Description Intake Air Temperature Sensor (IATS) is included inside Barometric Pressure Sensor (BPS) and detects the intake air temperature. To calculate precise air quantity, correction of the air temperature is needed because air density varies according to the temperature.

Description To sense the cars exactly in the next lane with the radar, the direction of the sensor and the direction of the vehicle have to align. This is BSD unit alignment. If this alignment is not performed as below illustration, the degradation of detection performance and the cause of false alarms.
Inspection 1. Ignition "ON" 2. Using the scan tool. 3. Emit intensive light toward photo sensor using a lamp, and check the output voltage change. 4. The voltage will rise with higher intensive light and reduce with lower intensive light.
