Replacement • Prolonged and repeated contact with mineral oil will result in the removal of natural fats from the skin, leading to dryness, irritation and dermatitis.
Removal and Installation 1. Drain engine oil. (Refer to Lubrication System - "Engine Oil") 2. Remove the water center pipe. (Refer to Cooling System - "Water Temperature Control Assembly") 3.
Removal 1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2. Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the crash pad side cover (A). [RH] 3. Disconnect the stopper (B) from the glove box (A). 4. Disconnect the air damper (A) from the glove box (B).
Oil Specification 1. The HFC-134a system requires synthetic (PAG) compressor oil whereas the R-12 system requires mineral compressor oil. The two oils must never be mixed. 2. Compressor (PAG) oil varies according to compressor model. Be sure to use oil specified for the model of compressor.
