Troubleshooting Limp Home Mode Features a fail-safe function that prevents dangerous situations in the event of a transaxle failure. The vehicle will be driven in limp home mode if the transaxle malfunctions.
Description The immobilizer system will disable the vehicle unless the proper ignition key is used, in addition to the currently available anti-theft systems such as car alarms, the immobilizer system aims to drastically reduce the rate of auto theft.
Replacement 1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2. Recover the refrigerant with a recovery/ recycling/ charging station. 3. When the engine is cool, drain the engine coolant from the radiator. 4. Remove the expansion valve cover (A).
