Description • SS-B solenoid valve is ON/OFF type. • When TCM supplies power to solenoid valve, speed range is changed by operating the solenoid valve.
Inspection 1. Turn ignition switch OFF. 2. Remove the battery and battery tray. (Refer to Engine Electrical System - "Battery") 3. Disconnect the solenoid valve connector (A).

Replacement 1. Disconnect the damper (B) from the glove box (A) and then remove the glove box lift (C). 2. Remove the filter cover (A) with pushing the knob. 3. Replace the air filter (B), install it after making sure of the direction of air filter.
