Removal and Installation 1. Disconnect the battery negative terminal. 2. To release the tension, turn the drive belt tensioner counterclockwise then remove the drive belt (A).
Instructions When Handling Refrigerant 1. R-134a liquid refrigerant is highly volatile. A drop on the skin of your hand could result in localized frostbite. When handling the refrigerant, be sure to wear gloves. 2. It is standard practice to wear goggles or glasses to protect your eyes, and gloves to protect your hands.
Replacement 1. Remove the condenser, and then remove the bottom cap (B) with L wrench (A) from the condenser. Tightening torque : 9.8~14.7N.m (1.0~1.5kgf.m, 7.2~10.8 lb-ft) 2. Remove the desiccant (A) from condenser using a long nose plier.
