Inspection 1. The rear glass defogger switch inputs can be checked using the GDS. 2. To check the input value of rear glass defogger switch, select option "IPM".

Replacement 1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2. Remove the heater and blower unit.(Refer to HA group – heater unit). 3. Remove the blower unit (A) from the heater unit after loosening a mounting bolt and 3 screws. Make sure that there is no air leaking out of the blower and duct joints.

Inspection 1. Measure terminal - to - terminal resistance of blower resistor. 2. If measure resistance isnot within specification, the blower resistor must be replaced. Replacement 1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2. Remove the crash pad lower cover (A) and then disconnect the connector (B).
