| 1. |
Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable. |
| 2. |
Disconnect the knock sensor connector (A).

| 3. |
Remove the intake manifold.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Intake Manifold") |
| 4. |
Remove the installation bolt (A), and then remove the sensor from the cylinder block.

| 1. |
Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable. |

Disconnect the knock sensor connector (A).

Remove the intake manifold.

Remove the installation bolt (A), and then remove the sensor from the cylinder block.

Description Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) consists of the zirconium and the alumina and is installed on upstream and downstream of the Warm-up Catalytic Converter (WCC).

Inspection 1. Measure terminal - to - terminal resistance of blower resistor. 2. If measure resistance isnot within specification, the blower resistor must be replaced. Replacement 1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2. Remove the crash pad lower cover (A) and then disconnect the connector (B).
