| 1. |
Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable. |
| 2. |
Disconnect the knock sensor connector (A).

Remove the intake manifold.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Intake Manifold") |
| 4. |
Remove the installation bolt (A), and then remove the sensor from the cylinder block.

| 1. |
Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable. |
| 2. |
Disconnect the knock sensor connector (A).

Remove the intake manifold.

| 4. |
Remove the installation bolt (A), and then remove the sensor from the cylinder block.

Install in the reverse order of removal.

Description Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) consists of the zirconium and the alumina and is installed on upstream and downstream of the Warm-up Catalytic Converter (WCC).

Replacement 1. Discharge refrigerant from refrigeration system. 2. Replace faulty tube or hose. Cap the open fittings immediately to keep moisture or dirt out of the system. 3. Tighten joint of bolt or nut to specified torque.
